How do I create an account?In the userbar(1), you should see a Sign Up for an Account link. Clicking on this link will direct you to a page where you can fill out the information needed to create an account. Once the information has been filled out, an e-mail will be sent to the given e-mail address with a validation code and a link that will validate your account.
How do I validate my account?In order to validate your account, you must first have filled out and submitted the registration information, and received an e-mail from Furocity; in that email will be a link to the account validation. After going to the link supplied, you will need to fill out your character information. Once you have filled out the character information successfully, your account will be created.
What do I do if I haven't gotten a validation e-mail?In the userbar(1), you should see a Forget your Password or Verification Code? link. Clicking on this link will allow you to enter your username and e-mail address, and will automatically send your code back out to you. If you are still having trouble getting your code, make sure that you are not blocking the furocity@furocity.com address, and make sure to check in your spam e-mail box (if you have one). In some clients you can add this e-mail address as a friend, which should bypass the spam filter.
How do I edit my profile?Once you have logged in to Furocity, you can click on the Edit Profile icon in the userbar(1).
How do I add an avatar (picture) to my profile?Once you have logged in to Furocity, you can click on the Preferences icon in the userbar(1). Once you are viewing your preferences, you should see a Profile Avatar section. To upload an avatar, simply click on the Browse... button and select the file that you wish to use.
I've seen others use custom fields in their profile... how do I?To use custom fields, you must have a premium account(2). Once logged in to your premium account(2), you can click on the Preferences icon in the userbar(1). At the bottom of the preferences page, you should see a Custom Fields section, where you can add, edit, move, or remove custom fields. Once you have added some custom fields, they will show up when editing your profile.
How do I view all profiles at once?To view all of the profiles at once, you must be in the profiles section of Furocity, and must click on the Show All button at the upper left of the page (in the default theme).
I can't stay logged in to Furocity. How can I fix this?If you're having problems logging into Furocity, you will want to make sure that your browser is accepting cookies. If your browser is correctly accepting cookies, you may want to clear your browser's cache files.
I'm getting an "Invalid username / password combination" error.This error occurs when your login name is not in our database, or when the password enters does not match the password associated with that username. Also, all usernames and passwords are case sensitive, so be sure that capslock isn't on.

I want a gallery and/or a journal! How do I get them?Your own personal gallery and journal are only available by subscribing for a premium account(2).
What is a Premium Account?A premium account(2) is a paid subscription, with special features such as your own gallery and journal, as well as the ability to create up to two communities.

I have a Premium Account Key - now what?To use your premium account key, click on the Upgrade to Premium link in the userbar(1), then type in your key. Once your key is accepted, your account is automatically upgraded to a premium account.
